Wish List

Well, as usual, I'm going to talk about Pinterest today. I'm sure that's real a shocker to you faithful readers out there. So... Reason #4283565912134023.3 I love Pinterest - aside from getting your recipes and amazing DIY projects: I can create a wish list for my Mil and Ma.

It's really a great website to store anything and everything on it. I just wish they'd create a secret board so I could pin gift ideas for friends and loved ones without them seeing it!

After getting a glimpse of my board (the pic above), I trust that none of you are surprised at seeing (1) a puppy and (2) a pair of Toms. A girl can never have too many Toms (or puppies for that matter) in my book.

Anyways, I wanted to highlight a few reasonable and unreasonable "wishes" on my wishlist this year. I say that because I'm now at a point in my life where I'm not really wanting a lot of $15 items anymore (although jewelry from Forever 21 & the Loft is always accepted and appreciated) and this really saddens me... :( Does this happen when you get older or am I just getting a little too high maintenance? Anyways... This year more than ever I've wanted $50, $150, $200, & $600 items (see what I mean by unrealistic?). So in light of my awkward wish list, I thought I'd share a few of my fav's from it.

So here's my realistic list:

These are FABULOUS wash/scrub rags from Crate & Barrel. We received some as wedding gifts and I've been hooked ever since. I highly recommend them.

I love me some Jane Austen... since she's dead and doesn't have anymore to say on her classics, I'd love to read P.D. James' murder mystery Pride and Prejudice style.

A few swimming items for my first sprint triathlon.

And last but not least, a new pair of Toms... I think I have 4 pairs on my wish list. So once again, 4 might be unrealistic ;) BUT I just wanted to give folks some options. Leave a little surprise in it, ya know?

Ok onto the unrealistic items on my wish list. Don't judge me.

We'll start of big...

The Ipad2. Fancy Pants - I know. Enough said there...

If we're going to do a triathlon, a girls gotta have a bike ya know? (I feel like a kid again putting a bike on my wish list)!

The Keurig B60 - The Mister has his French Press and I think this would suit me just fine. I like this model a lot because it has the variety in cup sizes. Also, I like it a lot because it is similar to the one we had in our room on our honeymoon. :)

Holy Michael Kors (the Rose Gold one). She's a beauty. But I also found this Fossil one that's similar for over $100 LESS than the MK one. Holler.

And probably the most unrealistic of all...

Man's best friend.

So that's what's on my list... What's on yours? And please tell me I'm not alone in having a crazy wish list this year...

Much love,
