Clapham Community

If you know me well, you know that one of my greatest passions is to see genuine community in the American church. I refuse to be a complacent member of a church unintentionally fostering sin by ignoring community. To love the Gospel is to love community. It's not possible to know the grace of God and not love others who have experienced and know the same thing.

But here's the thing... authentic community is hard. Doing life alongside of folks isn't easy! I want to share with you a blog post written by a dear friend of mine. She's awesome. When I married the mister, this lady took me in and opened up her marriage to me. She shared with me the good, bad, and the ugly and inspired me that through it all God's grace is sufficient. All that to say, she lives out what she writes and I can attest to it. She's going to share a few reasons why she finds it so hard to live in authentic community.

So without further adieu, meet Leslie and I pray that this post inspires you like it did me. I'm going to give you a teaser here, but you'll have to go to Clapham Community blog to check out the rest.

You're intrigued aren't you? You wanna read more right? Seriously, do it and be encouraged.

PS. Cow pictures from Cow Appreciation Day are coming soon... Yall are awesome. Thanks for sending 'em in! There is still time if you haven't sent them to me yet... Send them to ThisSassySalmon@gmail.com. AND since Leslie guest blogged today, yes that is her with the mister a few years ago with some of our friends kiddos at CAD (still abbreviating... don't judge).
