Flyin' Solo

Well folks - today is the day. The day that all family is gone, the Mister is at work, and me and the girls are navigating life at home solo. I have very few goals for the day and showering/make up definitely didn't make the list. (in fact... now that I mention it... as I look down at myself... still wearing the clothes I slept in... I'm trying to remember if I've even brushed my teeth yet and it's 5pm... shoot)... Oh well... anyways, all goals fit under one major category: Survival - if all parties at home are alive and well at the end of the day... I'll be quite proud of myself. :)

So what's on the agenda today?

1. Lots of feeding & changing diapers

2. Snuggling

3. And... Lord-willing a nap

Actually, to be honest the girls and I are doing just fine. If we weren't I sure as heck would NOT be blogging - that is for certain! We've mastered feeding at the same time, which was my biggest concern with being left alone two. Every now and then it gets a little harry when they both decide it's time to burp/get fussy at the same time bc I need two hands to burp one baby... which means if I'm going to do that at the same time I need to grow another set of arms/hands... and I'm not banking on that happening any time soon... so other than that we're making do!

The girls have been home for a week and a half and this mama is cherishing every moment with them! It's hard not to when they are so darn cute... I mean seriously... look at these crazy quacks mirroring one another:

We went to the girls weigh-in this week and we are so happy to report that all is going extremely well! Felicity now weighs 4lbs 11oz & Noel is our fat baby weighing in at a whopping 5lbs. hehehehe! But seriously, that's how I tell them apart. Noel's double chin is fuller in light of those extra 5oz. ha.

But seriously... a lot of you have asked... and we are doing great! I'm still working on keeping my BP low - but hopefully with time and medication it will return back to normal soon! Thanks so much for your prayers and encouragement.

Alright... it's almost feedin' time again which means I have hungry babies calling my name... LOUDLY.

Gotta run!
